Tax Refund Loans

Does SOS Offer Income Tax Refund Loans?

If you are anticipating an income tax refund this year, you my be waiting a bit longer for your funds to post.  Due to the federal government shutdown your income tax refund may be delayed for several weeks.  In order to get your refund check on-time or even earlier you may consider an income tax refund loan through SOS Loans.  The nice thing about a refund anticipation loan at SOS Loans is that they will not ask for your tax return.  To qualify you would need to have a minimum credit score of at least 575 & gross monthly income of at least $6,500.

An SOS Loan never charges you a pre payment penalty so your interest expense is only calculated for the time you have the money outstanding.  Also, there is no origination fee associated with any SOS Loan.  When comparing our unsecured personal loan versus a refund anticipation loan from H & R Block, Jackson Hewitt, and Liberty Tax they all charge origination fees and a lump sum payment .  An SOS loan is more of a personal loan where you can pay it off at once or extend the schedule over time to fit your budget.

Some tips to speed up your tax refund from the IRS:

File Electronically-  Filing by mail typically adds 4 weeks to your original 21 days if you e-file.

Opt for Direct Deposit-  Using direct deposit is the quickest way to receive your tax refund.

File Early- You can file your taxes as early as Jan. 1st although we estimate that the IRS won’t start accepting returns until Jan. 29, 2019.
